The PLE App is designed to help customers, dealers, installers, technicians, and authorized users manage permanent lighting systems, installations, warranties, scheduling, notifications, and related services.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following information.
Account Information
When creating or using an account, we may collect:

- Company name
- User role (Customer, Dealer, Installer, Administrator, etc.)
- Dealer affiliation
- Account preferences
Authentication Information
The App allows users to authenticate using one or more of the following methods:
- Sign in with Apple
- Sign in with Google
- Email authentication (where available)
Depending on the sign-in method you choose, we may receive your name, email address, profile image (if provided), and a unique authentication identifier from the authentication provider.
We never receive your Apple or Google password.
Device Information
To improve performance and security, we may collect:
- Device model
- Operating system
- Device type
- App version
- Device identifiers
- IP address
- Diagnostic information

- Performance analytics
Location Information
The App may request access to your device’s location.
Location information is used for limited purposes, including:
- Automatically determining your local time zone

The App does not continuously track your location.

Push notifications may be disabled at any time through your device settings.
Payment Information
If purchases or payments are made through the App, payment processing is securely handled by Stripe.
Permanent Lighting Experts LLC does not store your complete credit card or payment information on our servers.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)
AWS provides secure cloud hosting, infrastructure, storage, and related services that support operation of the App.
Stripe
Stripe securely processes payments made through the App.
Permanent Lighting Experts LLC does not receive or store complete payment card information.
Twilio
Twilio is used for:
- SMS notifications
- Phone verification
- Customer communication
- Account verification
Apple Push Notification Service (APNs)
Apple Push Notification Service delivers notifications to Apple devices.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers push notifications to Android devices.
Sign in with Apple
Users may choose to authenticate using Apple’s secure Sign in with Apple service.
Google Sign-In
Users may choose to authenticate using Google’s secure authentication services.
User Content
Information you voluntarily upload may include:
- Installation photos
- Warranty photos
- Project documentation
- Notes
- Comments
- Profile images
- Other files related to your account
You retain ownership of your uploaded content.
By uploading content, you grant Permanent Lighting Experts LLC a limited license to securely store, process, and display that content solely for operating and improving the App and its services.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Operate the App
- Provide requested services
- Maintain warranty records
- Fulfill contractual obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
Certain records may be retained even after account deletion when required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

The PLE App is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age.

Account Deletion and Data Retention
You may request deletion of your PLE account at any time.
If the App includes an in-app Delete My Account feature, you may initiate the process by navigating to Settings → Account → Delete My Account.

To help us verify your identity, we may request information such as:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Your phone number (if applicable)
- Your company name (if applicable)
Once your identity has been verified, we will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
Information We May Delete
Subject to legal and operational requirements, we may delete or anonymize information associated with your account, including:
- Account profile information
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo
- Login credentials
- Notification preferences
- User-uploaded content that is no longer required
- User preferences
- Other personal information not required for business or legal purposes
Deleting your account will permanently remove your ability to access the App using that account.
Information We May Retain
Certain information may be retained after account deletion when necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations

Customer and Warranty Records
Certain information submitted by dealers or installers becomes part of a customer’s permanent installation or warranty history.
Deleting an individual user account does not necessarily remove records that are required to maintain:
- Product warranties
- Installation documentation
- Product ownership history
- Customer service records
When appropriate, personal identifiers associated with deleted accounts will be removed or anonymized.
Third-Party Services
Some information processed by trusted third-party providers may remain subject to their own legal or operational retention requirements.
These providers include, but are not limited to:

- Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Apple
Deletion requests submitted to Permanent Lighting Experts LLC apply to information under our control and may not automatically remove information retained independently by third-party providers in accordance with their own legal obligations and privacy policies.
